Ford Plantation!

This fabulous wedding took place at Ford Plantation in Richmond Hill which was once Henry Ford's rice plantation! We took the rice theme and ran with it and used the color scheme of golds and chocolates-which was absolutely gorgeous! The bride used "escort cards" that were stone coasters with the model T car on them to represent Henry Ford's Ford Model car and this also doubled as their wedding favors! We had an enclosed, air conditioned tent with a lounge bar, photo booth, and specialty bar area. The tables were squared to offer an intimate seating setup and keep with the bride's modern style. And to top it all off we through rice packets at the end of the night as they departed and the night came to an end. Overall this wedding was a HUGE success and we had so much fun coordinating this event! Special thanks to Mark Staff Photography and Garden on the Square for the amazing arrangements!

Warm and Cozy

I know it's a little far off to think about cooler temperatures when the heat of the summer is just beginning but I just couldn't resist sharing this fabulous find! Reflectionsbyds's has some of the cutest handmade pieces that would be perfect for the chic and vintage style bride! And the best part is that she does custom work so each bride can find that exact piece she's been looking for! How hard is that to come by?! There are absolute amazing designs for shrugs, capelets, and shawls that will blow you away! Check out the website and then you'll understand why how I fell in love! www.reflectionsbyds.etsy.com

Jennifer and Max!

Round one from May 2nd-whew what a busy day! This precious couple was so much fun to work with and could not have been a sweeter couple! Their ceremony was at Lovely Lane Chapel in Epworth and the reception was a brunch type celebration with lots of breakfast and lunch items to choose from held at The Heritage Center at the lighthouse on St. Simons (http://www.saintsimonslighthouse.org/heritage.html). Straton Hall from Jekyll Island once again provided a superb performance with their hashbrown bar and crepe stand that were to die for! (http://stratonhall.com/) Jennifer and Max switched it up a bit and instead of just one big wedding cake they actually had several small cakes of all different flavors from Serendipity Bakery on St. Simons...talk about delish! (http://www.serendipitybakery.com/) Lindy Thompson with Golden Isles Photography was right on top of things and didn't miss a single moment to capture some fabulous pics! Carrie and Alex said ' I do' at Beachview Club on Jekyll Island and it was absolutely gorgeous!! This crowd was so much fun and the best man speech was probably the most entertaining part of the evening-absolutely hilarious! Anna and Spencer Clark once again did an amazing job and didn't miss a shot! Here are some fab pics!

OH how we LOVE the Military!

Ashley Garland and Nick Chandler put their own unique twist into their wedding and we are so excited to share a little glimpse of it with you! It took place at Lovely Lane Chapel on St. Simons and the reception at the home of Ashley's parents on SSI and it was FABULOUS! Beachview Rentals provided the tent and design for the reception and Ashley actually did some of the florals herself and also had a little help with the oh so talented Julie Driscoll with Garden on the Square! The photo booth was a huge hit and the guests had a blast snapping a few of their own! Ashley's fav snack is kettlecorn so to her delight (and the guests!) she had a man actually pop kettlecorn at the reception! Too cute! Thanks to everyone for making this a huge hit: http://www.beachviewtentrentals.com/, http://www.mplumbfun.com/, Garden on the Square, and Delaney's for catering!
