OH how we LOVE the Military!

Ashley Garland and Nick Chandler put their own unique twist into their wedding and we are so excited to share a little glimpse of it with you! It took place at Lovely Lane Chapel on St. Simons and the reception at the home of Ashley's parents on SSI and it was FABULOUS! Beachview Rentals provided the tent and design for the reception and Ashley actually did some of the florals herself and also had a little help with the oh so talented Julie Driscoll with Garden on the Square! The photo booth was a huge hit and the guests had a blast snapping a few of their own! Ashley's fav snack is kettlecorn so to her delight (and the guests!) she had a man actually pop kettlecorn at the reception! Too cute! Thanks to everyone for making this a huge hit: http://www.beachviewtentrentals.com/, http://www.mplumbfun.com/, Garden on the Square, and Delaney's for catering!

Melanie and Billy- April 4, 2009!

Melanie and Billy had the ultimate spring wedding at the St. Simons Island Lighthouse a few weeks ago and we wanted to share a few photos from Sandra and Greg Scott with Picture this! Photography (http://www.sandraandgreg.com/). The bright colors used in the flowers and decor really set the mood for this fabulous spring wedding and really made Melanie and Billy's personality shine! We hope you enjoy these pics as much as we enjoyed helping coordinate their wedding!

Pinch those Pennies!

If there is one thing we all have been hearing lately it's to save, save, save!! Well you're in luck ladies because we have done our research and come up with a few options to help save you a few pennies when planning your wedding! One inside tip is to attend a trunk show at bridal boutiques or bridal stores! Here you can find amazing dresses at amazing prices! Check your local boutiques and stores regularly for updates on trunk shows! Every bride wants not only the perfect dress but the perfect shoes to match! You can check out http://www.piperlime.com/ and find name brand shoes for discount prices! They even have a 'Wedding Chic' category with all the popular styles to choose from. Every bride will come across the need to have some sort of paper product for their wedding. Whether it be little bags, boxes, ribbon, or even tissue paper you can find it at a discount price on http://www.papermart.com/! This is great for all packaging needs for many different types of wedding favors! One expense that people will also find to get a bit expensive is lighting. Sometimes this may cost a fortune depending on your venue and what type of lighting you want! One little tip is to use candles as much as possible. This helps to create an intimate atmosphere and can provide a romantic setting all in one! If you aren't allowed to use burning candles in your venue, get the 'fake' candles that run on batteries-they work just the same! There are tons of little tricks that you can use to really help lower the cost for your wedding little by little. Considering the costs and what things you REALLY need are key steps. Decide on what's most important to you and your spouse and then go from there. This will allow you to allocate your costs and fit your budget easier!
